The Lord Milner Hotel is a town house hotel located in the heart of the Belgravia area, approximately 1.3 miles out of the centre of London. This London hotel is near sightseeing destinations, shopping districts, and dining spots. The hotel has very convenient travel links making it easily accessible for everyone.

Each room contains: a mini bar =, coffee and tea making facilities, kettle, hair dryer, multi-channel LCD T.V, wireless internet connection, en suite bathrooms, direct dial telephones and a trouser press (upon request).

If you are buying a new home and are looking for buildings insurance, you may also want to consider home contents insurance to cover household items and possessions. While it is not mandatory, it is advisable, but remember, one in three British citizens fall victim to burglary at some point in their lives.
Home contents insurance covers anything that is not considered a fixed part of your home, such as furnishings, appliances, linens and clothing, electronics equipment and in some cases, even the contents of your cupboards and fridge/freezer.
Some home contents insurance policies also cover items frequently taken out of your home, like jewellery, bicycles, mobile phones, laptops, prams and in some instances, sports equipment.
There are two types of home contents insurance, with the least expensive being indemnity. With this type of insurance, anything lost, stolen or damaged is replaced based on its worth at the time of the claim, which is to say based on its depreciated value rather than its brand new price. ‘Replacement as new’ (old for new) insurance replaces lost, stolen or damaged items at their brand new value; however, carrying that type of insurance is more costly, so it is really up to you to decide what type is best.
All home contents insurance policies have a set limit of coverage, so high-value possession like expensive artwork and jewellery are excluded. To ensure high value items are covered, an additional premium contents policy is needed.

We are constantly being bombarded with adverts and internet pop-up’s telling us that these dating sites will find us love, but do these online dating services really work? Can they really find us our true love? I would love to say they are a sure way of finding your soul mate but, in reality, there is no guarantee.
Is there a better chance of finding love through dating sites? If you read their home pages then you would definitely think so. Match.com has 160 people who leave the site as couples per day, and My Single Friend attracts over 8,000 new members a month.
Trust Cupid and Parship all offer compatibility tests to help you meet someone that is more suited to you. In real life it’s not like you can walk into a bar and see the likes and dislikes of someone hanging above their head. In a way, it’s nice to have the easy option of just skimming through a profile to find out if that person is someone you want to start a conversation with.
Dating sites are so quick and easy to use. For a lot of people, a dating service is the perfect way of finding someone who they have things in common with. Even if you aren’t looking for love or anything long term, a dating site can be used to simply meet other people who have similar tastes to you. You might not find long lasting love, but there is every possibility that you’ll find a long lasting friendship.

The Internet has made available not only opportunities in the likes of gambling in every shape and form, but also in investment and trading in stocks and currencies. FX trading is in money rather than items, and the market has a daily turnover of over two trillion dollars, making it the biggest in the world.
The basic principle of FX trading is the buying and selling of currencies in pairs, such as the EUR/USD or the YEN/EUR. These currencies are part of the ‘Majors’, those most heavily traded in because of their liquidity and the ease with which they can be converted to cash. Trading in the ‘Majors’ accounts for over 80 per cent of the FX market. Only 5 per cent of Forex trading is down to countries trading for conversion of currencies into their native type following sales of products. The rest of the market is dominated by speculators. As currencies are no longer pegged to the dollar as they used to be, there is great liquidity in the FX trading market.
Leverage, which is the amount a broker will lend a trader to conduct transactions, magnifies the tiny fractional changes in currency rates and allows for more profiteering, which is part of the attraction.
Traders who have busy schedules find the Forex trading market ideal, as it is open 24 hours a day and business is done by telephone and over the Internet. Liquidity also is fairly constant throughout the day, so there are opportunities late at night as well as in the early morning.

I have had my Vodafone mobile broadband for a couple of months now and have to say its great being able to connect to the internet just about anywhere. I travel a lot for work and mobile broadband is ideal for me to keep check on my emails and send documents to my work colleagues as well as posting on my blog.
I was in Preston for work earlier this week and meet up with a colleague of mine for lunch in the hotel he was staying in and he was telling me that even though the hotel had internet access he was struggling to do his work because it kept cutting off or was slow. I told him that I had a mobile broadband dongle and very rarely had any issues with it. He said “it must cost you a bomb for that”, and I told him that I pay £5 per month until the end of July and £15 a month after that.
He was shocked at how cheap it was and said he was going to look into getting one for himself; he also said that it was cheaper than what he was paying a month for his home broadband connection.
The competitiveness or broadband companies and the introduction of broadband comparison sites has made broadband and mobile broadband cheaper than it has ever been.

My parents are going down to London to visit my brother in September and they have asked me to have a look at how much it would cost. I started by looking on thetrainline.com as I guessed that a train journey would be the cheapest option. My parents live in Glasgow so I typed in the from and to information as well as the date. It took a couple of seconds to show me the price and I was shocked, £116 each and it took 5 and a half hours!
I decided that I would try a domestic flight instead and went to the BMI website as I have flown with them before and they were cheap. I typed in the information again and pushed the Get Flights button and waited a few seconds. The outbound flight cost £32.50 and the return flight cost £37.50, meaning a grand total of £70 each; that’s a saving of £46 each and it only takes 1 hour and 20 minutes.
I don’t know where the train companies get their pricing from, but if you want to travel from Glasgow to London then a cheap flight will save you not just money but time as well.

I was reading the other day that people where selling or trying to sell Raoul Moat t shirts on eBay which they quickly pulled. Yes the whole situation is sad but the second t shirt was rather funny.
One was an orange t shirt with Raoul Moat face on with “Moaty” underneath, orange was his trade mark shirt and he was often seen in CCTV footage wearing orange. The other one is the best and it made me chuckle slightly, it’s an image of Gazza’s face with a fishing rod by it with the caption “Moaty, it’s me Gazza!”
That’s the thing when everyone has access to varying t shirt printing methods, theres nothing stopping anything been printed.
I agree that what happened was tragic, but as soon as Gazza rocked up with larger, chicken and 2 fishing rods, we all knew that there would be a funny situation.

My wife has been playing bingo at 888Ladies for a couple of months now and really enjoys it. Her friends have also joined so they chat and have a laugh online while playing their bingo games.
After initially winning a couple of £10’s in her first week, she had had nothing for a month or so till last night when I heard a loud scream from the computer room, followed by “I’ve won, I’ve won”. I had to see what all the commotion was so went upstairs and found my wife giggling in the computer chair.
She had won £180 pound and was really happy, at least this will keep her occupied for the next couple of weeks as she can carry on playing bingo games without having to put her own money in and buy herself something nice too!

So it was my cousin’s birthday the other day and she is now 17, she lives in Jesmond with her mum, so I decided to get her 3 lessons with a driving school in Newcastle.
It reminded me of when I took driving lessons – I did it with BSM and I spent a lot of money learning to drive. Sadly I failed my test many times before passing, I remember the second to last test, I had gone round with only 2 minors – I was exstatic, until he said I had one major and had failed. It turned out the major penalty was me coming out of the test centre on the right hand side of the driveway.
I was gutted.
Anyways, I finally passed on the 3rd go and then didn’t drive again for 6 months!!!
All sorted now though

My nephew is being christened at the end of August and it gives our family the chance to go down to London for the weekend! Having grown up near London during my childhood I have been to London quite a few times, but my wife has only been once and the kids have never been, so a bit of sightseeing is in order.
The christening starts at midday on the Sunday so I plan to get down to London on the Friday night and then do some sightseeing on the Saturday. I’ve had a quick look for hotels in London, and because the christening is in Clapham it should be easy enough to get to the centre of London with kids in tow.
London hotels aren’t as expensive as you think either, starting from around £75 per night for a family room and should be ideal for what we need it for. It should be pretty interesting for the kids too and will give them something to talk about with their friends when they get back.
