Forex Trading Explained

For a beginner in forex trading, there are five major factors that need to be fully understood before they can aspire to successful forex trading. These factors are Forex Fundamental Analysis, Forex Technical Analysis, Money Management, Forex Trading Psychology and Forex Brokerage.

All the market analysis and accurate predictions of future currency fluctuation in the world will not get traders very far unless they have a firm grasp on money management. A money management plan is a vital tool in every Forex trader’s arsenal, and without a canny one, many traders can end up going down in flames. Any new traders are strongly advised to read up on money management and risk control strategies before floating any money in the system.

Forex trading psychology, as the name implies, is all in the mind. Trying to make money via forex trading is a frequently deadly balancing act between profit and risk, greed and caution. Traders need to have firm control over their own emotions in order to avoid pulling out too soon, or alternatively, risking too much on the promise of greater good fortune and ending up losing everything. There are actually specific psychology books written for forex traders on how to exercise mental discipline, and both amateurs and even professionals are well advised to take note of their advice.

A forex broker is a company that can give information to forex traders in real time and implement their instructions in the marketplace. It is vital to use a forex broker that is reputable, trustworthy and efficient – for without them, all the cleverness and analysis in the world will be of little use.

  • When you are facing that big white area and blinking cursor that marks the space soon to be occupied by your online dating profile, it can be enough to send you into a panic.  But don’t worry; follow these simple steps and you’ll soon have a profile you can be proud of.

    1.  Start the Old Fashioned Way:  Sit down with pen and paper (really!).  We usually write slower by hand, so this will give you time to think before you write.  You will create a more thoughtful, genuine profile.

    2.  Get Real:  The more forthright you are, the more quality matches you will attract.  So if you haven’t been to the opera in…well…ever, don’t say “I love the opera.”  Likewise, if you spend all your free time in online role-playing games, saying “I enjoy video games” masks the truth just a tad.

    3.  Clean It Up:  Dust off your dictionary, use spell check, and avoid annoying ‘text speak’ when you write your profile.  Most sites won’t allow cursing or foul language anyway, but be sure to use plain language and make your writing as clean as possible.  The easier you are to understand, the more great people you’ll attract.

    4.  Take a Break: After it is written, let your profile sit for a couple of days before you post it.  Not only will this help steel your resolve, but re-reading your bio with a fresh set of eyes will help you catch glaring errors and assess your profile more critically.

  • I’ve joined 888Ladies bingo!

I’ve posted before about my wife winning on her bingo site and I’ve finally bit the bullet and joined 888Ladies bingo too! I got my £5 free for registering and a 200% deposit bonus, so my £10 turned into £35 :-)

I have only played a couple of games so far and haven’t won anything yet, but I might have a few games at lunch to pass the time. The website itself is decked out with lots of pink, as you would expect from a site aimed at women, but the interface and games are easy to use and understand making playing bingo games or any of the other games simple and fun.

The community is great and we have a lot of banter and my wife has been teaching me the bingo lingo too, such as ‘1TG’ (one number to go) and ‘GG’ (Good Game) which was quite confusing to start with. I will let you know if I win anything over the coming months and what other promotions are running.

If you’re looking for a bingo site to play your favourite game you can’t go wrong with Ladies888 Bingo.

  • New iPhone looks even more tempting!

I’m quite into my tech stuff and have been quite excited to see what Apple’s new iPhone 4 would feature. As pictures of the iPhone 4 had been leaked for over a month before it was official I already knew what it looked like, but looks aren’t everything especially in the Smartphone market.

I have been quite disappointed by the last couple of iPhone’s ( the 3G and 3GS) as they weren’t much of a step up from the original iPhone, but this newest device has a plethora of new features including a better screen that has a resolution of 640 x 960, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and front mounted camera for video calling.

The battery has also been overhauled to make it last longer and the camera can record High Definition video up to 720p at 30fps.

My mate has pre-ordered his already and I’m looking forward to getting a nosey at it; who knows my wife’s contract is up soon, so could always get an iPhone 4 and swap if with my HTC Desire if she would let me :-)

    Mobile broadband comparisons

When it comes to the time to choose which type of mobile broadband you need to use for your personal connection or your business, there are so many options that it can seem somewhat overwhelming to compare the various broadband providers available. At their very basic level they all offer the same type of service: access to broadband regardless of where you are and whether or not you have a land-based connection. However the terms and conditions of each company will vary, as will the prices associated with the connections. In addition, the costs for business broadband and personal broadband are significantly different, with business accounts generally used by people who need more bandwidth per month.

There are a number of companies to look at when considering mobile broadband. This is especially true of the broadband UK customers can choose from, with companies offering a variety of broadband deals, such as Virgin Media Broadband, BT Total Broadband, Sky Broadband and Tiscali Broadband, just to name a few. Connectivity is still an issue in countries where the cellular infrastructure is not yet up to third-generation standards (3G connections). Individuals on the go may sometimes find that while they can connect to the Internet regardless of where they are in the world, there are limitations based upon the technology of a given area. Still, if access to the Internet 24/7 is a necessary part of your business, a mobile broadband connection is the only way realistically to stay connected whenever you need it.

  • In my line of work I am always travelling to different parts of the UK doing surveys and whatnot and need to be in contact with the office regularly. Although hotels that I stay in and some public transport now have Wi-Fi connections for internet access, I find them quite slow or you have to get a code and set up a new wireless access point on your laptop which loses you precious time.

I have decided to get myself a mobile broadband package as they seem to have come on leaps and bounds since there first introduction and could help me to stay connected with the minimum of fuss when I’m away on business.

I looked at a few broadband comparison sites and settled for one of the most popular mobile broadband packages, Virgin Mobile broadband. It gives a speed of up to 7.2Mbps, 3GB download limit and costs just £5 for the first three months and £15 thereafter.

The USB Modem also features a microSD card slot capable of holding cards up to 4GB, which will be handy when transferring files from my laptop to my office computer. I can also use it when I’m out in the garden as my home wireless system doesn’t have good strength.

Can’t wait to get it delivered and try it out, I will do a full review when I have played with it for a few days.
