Some of the hip flasks I have seen seem to tarnish quickly if you put a different beverage in it, so I have opted for a stainless steel hip flask because it doesn’t dull after time. Stainless steel flasks are also dishwasher safe making cleaning them easy.

Now all I have to hope is that my dad doesn’t read my blog before Father’s Day; although he doesn’t even use the internet that often so I think I’ll be safe.

It is now City that are in charge with a superior goal difference, but this could all change on Sunday as City face an in form Newcastle side at St James Park and United take on Swansea at Old Trafford.

Being a Manchester United fan, I think the best chance we have to win the league is if Newcastle gets a result; we have to win our last two games and hope City slip up, as I don’t think we’ll score enough to overcome the goal difference.

It’ll be an interesting finish to the season and could be the tightest in Premier League history, let’s just hope that it’ll be the reds celebrating again.

I find running quite easy but it is really boring, so I have been looking at getting some sort of app for my phone to make it more interesting.

Doing an internet search I found a fitness app called Zombies, Run! And I think this will do the trick. It’s only out on iPhone at the moment which isn’t great for me as I have an Android phone, but there is an Android app coming in the next couple of months.

The Zombies, Run! Application is in the form of a story and you are a scavenger looking for supplies to help your base. As you run the story continues and you pick up much needed supplies such as medic kits and ammo, and you also complete mission as you go along.

Once you’ve finished your run you can use the items you collected to help your compound and build up your base.

It sounds like a great idea and something to make my running a bit more exciting. Can’t wait to get it for my phone, but in the meantime I might borrow my wife’s iPhone when I go on runs from now on.

I hadn’t really thought of it since then, but this weekend’s games are a tempting prospect to do some football betting on. Manchester United are at home to QPR and Manchester City head to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal which could be a pivotal set of matches for the league title.

Robin Van Persie is 7/2 to score first, which isn’t bad, but I’m gonna have a punt on Balotelli or Tevez (depending on who starts) as they are both at 5/1.

I quite like the 5/1 odds on Ashley Young scoring first in the United game and will bet £5 on him; I will probably have a bet on either Zamora or Bothroyd (just in case!) with odds at 14/1 and 16/1 respectively it’s hard not to.

Bring on Sunday and hopefully Manchester United will be further ahead on points.

Later that night I decided that instead of buying disposable barbeques every time we wanted a barbeque that I would buy a decent compact barbeque that I could store in the garage until needed; all I’d have to buy then is the coal, which is considerably cheaper.

I had a look online and found the Weber Smokey Joe®, a compact barbeque that comes with a 10 year warranty. I paid £45 for it, so all we have to do is use it over four times and I’m saving money.

I should get it before the weekend, so hopefully it’ll be nice so I can try it out.
